Get to Know Your Chamber Board
Ted McMullen, Director of Leasing McMullen and Company, Inc.
Ted
McMullen is part of the fourth generation of the McMullen family
development business in Ann Arbor. Growing up on what was once wooded
farmland near I-94 and State Street, development of these properties
and a desire to experience life elsewhere motivated Ted to get away.
After attending DePauw University in Indiana, then spending another ten
years in Indianapolis doing anything but real estate development, Ted
eventually found himself right back at his roots and involved in
property development just north of Indianapolis.
As his children began approaching school
age, Ted and his wife, Kelli, decided to head north to the beautiful
Great Lake state. Now, though the landscape has changed, Ted finds
himself right at home, leasing the office buildings on the familiar
properties and enjoying all that Ann Arbor and its surrounding
communities have to offer.

Businesses
engaged in dining, entertainment and recreation activities and located

may now be eligible for a Development Authority District Liquor

Liquor Control Commission, the City Council Liquor Committee wants to
gather public feedback to assist City Council in establishing a Liquor
License Policy for the downtown development area. Attendees
will learn about the liquor license process and will have the
opportunity to provide feedback to the Council Liquor Committee members.

| Give them a piece of your mind
The
Ann Arbor District Library and the Ann Arbor Downtown Development
Authority are working actively to gather feedback from community
members on two projects: the redesign/renovation of the Main Library
downtown and the design of an underground parking structure on the
South Fifth Avenue Parking lot. This survey will help the two design
teams understand more about your values and priorities as they work to
develop conceptual designs for the library and the parking structure.
In
hopes of getting as much response as possible, they will draw the names
of 2 respondents and the winners will receive a month of free parking
and a $50 gift certificate to a local business. You will be notified by
phone or email, based on your input at the end of the survey.
